Stone Mountain
Park
|
|
The Confederate Memorial
(of Pres. Jefferson Davis, Gen. Robert E. Lee and Lt.
Gen. Thomas “Stonewall” Jackson) on the face of the
825-ft-high domed mountain is the world's largest
sculpture.
|

|
|
|
To get a close up view
of the carving, you can ride the skylift, which takes
you to the top of the mountain for incredible views of
Atlanta or you can ride their scenic train (open-air
train cars), which takes a 5- mile journey around the
base of the mountain.
